So, have you been thinking, “I’m intrigued and interested, but who are you?” Established in 2010 and located on the west side of Maple Ridge, Left of the Dot Media is a brand incubation company focused on web and mobile businesses. With a portfolio of world-class brands, we turn raw virtual real estate into fully functioning businesses.
At the heart of our business is our revolutionary new mobile app called YO! which launched at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona in March 2015. YO! is the world’s first ‘Off-Grid’ messaging, sharing, and content discovery app. It allows users to connect at high speeds without the need for cellular data or the Internet. This new approach to decentralized networking empowers users to share videos, pictures, messages, songs or even apps. Now people can share with friends at campus, colleagues at the office or family at home – fast and free! Our mission is to connect every person on the planet. Yep. Every single one of them.
It has been an incredible year for us but to fully appreciate the opportunity that lies ahead, please read Our Story… and yes, start at the beginning. (!/our-story)
The other half of our company is working on our newest spinoff, Leftt [short for Left Travel], aims to raise the standard in the world of meta vacation rentals by delivering new levels of choice to the rising needs of the online traveller. We have an extensive travel brand portfolio that includes,,,, and others.
Our new office is probably the coolest office space in the Lower Mainland not found in Vancouver. Complete with ping pong table, foosball, and an espresso machine, you are never going to want to leave.  We are located in the suburbs so that our employees can live and work in their community. This is very important to us and we were just awarded the 2015 Community Engagement Award from the BCTIA. It was pretty cool! If you do commute, it is only 40 minutes against traffic from downtown Vancouver, and as we are just across the Golden Ears Bridge, we are extremely convenient to all the talented people in the Tri-Cities, Langley, Surrey, Mission, New West and all points in between.  Just think of all the time you will save from commuting!
