Sustainability Goals.

It is widely understood that connecting more people to the internet would have a dramatic, positive impact on economic and social development in developing regions.

If developing countries are able to bridge the digital divide, and reach levels of internet penetration of developed regions, they would be able to access better education, leading to a reduction in unemployment, and at a macro level, GDP growth and productivity improvements. Internet penetration is also estimated to result in better health conditions for populations due to better access to health information. Though we know the benefits connectivity can bring, present technologies and business models are a barrier towards making internet access available and affordable in developing regions. We strongly believe that mobile mesh networking, enabled by RightMesh, provides an affordable and accessible way to achieve this, thereby reducing poverty, and empowering sustainable, long-term economic and social development.

The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide us with global targets and priorities to ensure we collectively build a sustainable future for our world and the people within it. RightMesh, and the social and economic benefits connectivity can provide, inherently aligns with and underpins many of the SDGs.

We intend to help advance the SDGs and would like to highlight some of those which we believe RightMesh directly contributes to:
